Meet the Team

I'm a mother who knows what it feels like to watch your child struggle and feel forgotten by the very systems meant to protect them. Out of that pain, I came up with the idea for The Walden Shed — driven by anger, love, and a belief that community can step in when everything else falls away - 'It takes a village to raise a child'

My own recovery journey, alongside years of pastoral and youth work, is at the heart of why I do this work. Supporting young people in schools and community settings has shown me how vital it is to have safe, trusted adults who listen without judgement and set clear, supportive boundaries.

As a father of 3 and following on from nearly a decade teaching water-sports in the Mediterranean, + more recently being involved in teaching youth rugby, i have seen the huge benefit that sport gives children, and the attributes it instills.
